She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Krall and Mae Krall (Hotka); her husband Hal Knowling; and her siblings, Ralph, Richard, Dorothy, Donald, Bernice and Joseph.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Knowling of Solon, Sandy and Connie McRoberts (James) of Oxford; her grandchildren, Lea Woodruff (David), Sarah McRoberts, Tessa McRoberts and Chloe Keister (Matt); her stepgrandchildren, Donna Duwa (Lee), Kim Tew and David Dickinson (Debbie); her great grandchildren, Madalyn, Lola and Beckett Keister; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Carrington, Remington Duwa, Nicholas, Jason Tew, Bella and Zak Dickinson.
The wearing of a mask and social distancing practices will be required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Wenceslaus Church, Friends of the Animal Center Foundation, Iowa City Hospice, or to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
