With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn J. Manley of Iowa City, Iowa, born in Wayland, Iowa, who passed away on March 22, 2021 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilyn J. Manley to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Glen Reschly and Verda Reschly (Christner); her great-great-grandparents, Daniel and Mary Conrad; her husband J. D. Manley; her brother Edwin Reschly (Margaret); her children, Karen Schweitzer (Tom Vujovich) of Des Moines and Kenneth Schweitzer (Joanne Wolf-Schweitzer) of Coralville; her granddaughters, Katherine Schweitzer and Christina McGhghy (David); her stepgreat-grandson Austin; and her siblings, Jan Miller (Ken), Dan (Krisann) and Steve (Christiane). She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
No service is planned during covid but a memorial gathering will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, we suggest that you plant some cheerful spring bulbs, perennials, or a flowering tree and remember our dear Marilyn.
