He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sokoll and Lottie Sokoll (Pesta); and his siblings, Frank, Eugene, Richard Sokoll, Agnes King, Amelia Sokoll, Marguerite Sokoll, Helen Baker, Cecelia Wease, Stella Zerba, Mary Azallion, Elizabeth Prezbeski and Clara McCombs.
He is survived by: his brother William Sokoll (Mary) of Taos, NM; and his sister-in-law Kristine Sokoll of Harrisville, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Iowa City Hospice or St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
