We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2023, at the age of 76, Mary Beth Turgasen of Iowa City, Iowa, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edmund Mason Sr. and Lucille Mason (McNeely); her brother Joe; and her husband John Charles Turgasen of John's Church. She is survived by: her son Jeremy Turgasen (Amy) of Altoona; her grandsons, Cole and Evan; her son Michael Turgasen (Danielle) of North Liberty; her grandchildren, Jacob, Jackson and Drew; her daughter Amanda Schwarting (Jeff) of Amana; her grandchildren, Mason and Lauren; her stepgrandchildren, Allissa and Nolan; and her sisters, Susie Kissell (Cory) of Bloomington, MN, Pam Winfield (Ed) of Burnsville, MN and Jill Mason Dicker (Jack) of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed toward the Alzheimer's Association.
