He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Mills and Odetta Mills (Arnold); his brothers, Kent and Wendall (Poody); his daughter-in-law Renee; and his grandson Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Dort; his children, Dan Mills (Deb) of Itasca, Ill of Nichols, Doug Mills of Nichols, Dave Mills (Kim) of Nichols, Dick Mills of Longmont, Colo. and Dee McDonald (Scott) of Abilene; and his sisters, June Burr of West Liberty and Mary Forbes Baker (Larry) of Missouri. He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nichols First Responders.
