He is survived by: his wife Joyce Vermace; his daughters, Jennifer Mattheisen (Scott) of Cushing and Johanna Wasileski (Ryan) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; his brothers, Rick McPherson (Karen) of Iowa City and Randy Vermace (Marti) of Iowa City; and his brother-in-law Steve Brinkman (Tammy) of Mitchell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
