He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ayers and Louise Ayers; and his children, Daniel Ayers, Josie Ayers and Gena Ayers.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Wilson; his sons, Michael Ayers (Jen Teitle), Steven Ayers (Rachel) and Ezekiel Ayers (Merissa Fussell); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jack, Riona, Zelda, Yvaine and Benjamin; his siblings, Jim Ayers (Joyce), Mary Stebbins (Larry) and Mark Ayers (Rita); and his friend Linda Ayers-Foster (Mike Foster).
In lieu of flowers, the Patrick Ayers memorial fund has been established.
