He was predeceased by: his son Mark; and his parents, Alfred Meyer and May Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his sons, Stephan of New York City and David of Iowa City; his brother Alfred (Miriam); and his grandson Abraham.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations either to St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Iowa City or Habitat for Humanity.
