He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Villhauer and Elouise Villhauer (Achey); his daughter Susie Coffman; his brother Jim; and his brother-in-law Dan Kramer.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughter Sally Fisher (Brad); his grandchildren, Stephanie Glass (Allen), Morgan Fisher, Ambrose Coffman and Ella Coffman; his great grandchildren, Will and Wesley Glass; his siblings, Jerry Villhauer (Sharon), Jean Aikin (Rich) and Margey Upson; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Villhauer and Vicky Schuttler (Walt).

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established to support cause important to Dick.
