It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Neil Van Hoozer (Iowa City, Iowa), who passed away on December 22, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hoozer and Henrietta Van Hoozer (Scott); his brother Nelson; and his brother-in-law Billie Butler. He is survived by: his sisters, Beverly Butler and Joan Robertson (John); his wife Helen Lucille Staten; and his children, Diane (Anthony Spitzer), Bob (Patti Stutzman) and Randy (Terri Trumpp).
