It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherri Kay Hynes (Iowa City, Iowa), who passed away on August 14, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sherri Kay Hynes to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Milton E. Bertsche and Alice Marjorie "Marge" Frederickson Bertsche; her brother Roger "Bruce" Bertsche; her children, Erin E. Hynes and Michael P. Hynes (Jackie); her grandchildren, Kerrigan E. Lockhart, Maura K. Lockhart of Perrysburg, Liam M. Hynes and Ryan M. Hynes of Coralville, Iowa.; and her brothers, Kevin Bertsche (Cindy), Rodney Bertsche (Lori) and Mark Bertsche (Kim). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
