She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Monson and Evelyn Monson (Welsh); her siblings, Eugene Monson (Joan), Arlen "Peep" Monson (Janice), Dean Monson (Patricia), Alan Monson, J. Michael Monson (Sandra), Mark Monson and Bonnie Holmgaard (Dale); her nephew Matthew Kline; and her nieces, Cindy Monson Dunn and Dawn Holmgaard.
She is survived by: her husband Jim of Clear Lake; her children, Rev. Jon Knapp (Suzette) and Leslie Russell (Bruce); her grandchildren, Michael Knapp (Sydney), Stephanie Knapp, Ryan Knapp (Riawna Romano), Bruce Russell Jr. and Claudia Russell; her great grandchildren, Owen, Sophia, Emmett, Arielle, Amelia and Leonardo; her sisters, Rita Lee and Gloria Kline (Michael); and her sisters-in-law, Donna Monson, Marcia Monson and Karen Monson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
