She is survived by: her husband Dale O'Brien; her son Joseph O'Brien (Sarah) of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Tyler, Emily and Angela Berger (Bradley) of Iowa City; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Camren, Haley, Joshua O'Brien (Michelle) of Hills, Jasen O'Brien (Elizabeth Kelly) of Hills and Natalie Dejardin of Cedar Rapids; her siblings, Laura Matthess, David Scharf (Deborah), Deeanna Smith, Brenda Schmidt and Harlan Scharf (Teresa); Jolene, Michael, Madison, Mackenzie, Kelland O'Brien of Iowa City, Brandon and Brianna. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
