She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ward and Alice Ward (Roeder); and her brother Leon Scott. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Brenneman of Iowa City, IA, Lindsi Guetterman (Tim) of Ann Arbor, MI and Nate Brenneman (Jess) of Seattle, WA; her siblings, Marsha Brunsvold (Mike) and Steve Ward; her former husband Jerry Brenneman; her granddaughter Avery Guetterman; and her stepgrandchildren, Justus and Eden Kee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mark's Methodist Church of Iowa City or to Iowa City Hospice.
