He was predeceased by: his foster brother Jack De Jager of Alto, WI; his foster parents, Franklin and Kay Sturing; and his foster siblings, Marcia, Mark Hoover, Marla De Jager, Marvin Sturing and Jerry Atchison.
He is survived by: his close friends, John and Joyce Stam of Oskaloosa; and his foster siblings, Bernie, Ruth Sturing of Anacortes, WA, Judy, Carroll Hol of Cedar, IA, Janice, Rod Van Wyk of Hawarden, IA, Jan Sturing of Sioux Falls, SD, Stan and Melody Sturing of Grand Rapids, MI.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Langkamp Funeral Chapel (2116 N 3rd St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Forest Cemetery (934 N 9th St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577).
