Velma I. Fisher Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma I. Fisher of Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on March 24, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Smith Sr. and Velma Hartsock Smith; her siblings, Mary Farnsworth (Lee), Lily Mae Parrish (Pat), Maxine Meyers (Ed), Betty Brenneman (Dave), Luella Jean Holmes (Carl), Florine Roegler and Clifford "Sonny" Smith (Mary); and her siblings-in-law, Beverly King and Pat Lamp.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Lee Fisher; her daughters, Hawkeye Football of Iowa, Basketball, Pam Calkins (Larry Barnes) and Ellen Jenn (Ron); her grandchildren, Amanda Bender, Aubray Coorough (Derek) and Brent Jenn (Kendra); her great grandchild Bentley; and her sister Marjana Lamp.

In lieu of flowers, memorials donations can be made in Velma's memory to The River Community Church.
