He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvanus Miller (Chub) and Eula Jean Miller (Figgins); his sister-in-law Nancy Loney of Iowa City; and his parents-in-law, Bernard "Bud" and Agnes Loney (Fitzpatrick).
He is survived by: his wife Pamela (Loney); his children, Jennifer Stilphen-Wildes of Iowa City and Jeremy Johnson-Miller (Marcus) of Des Moines, Iowa; his grandchildren, Timothy, Jacob and Natalie; his brothers, Max (Carla) of Marrero, Tim (Krys) of Bonner Springs and Hal (Kathy) of Honey Creek; and his sister-in-law Linda Ackerman (Les) of Plano, Texas..
