He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Boe and Mae Jacobson Boe. He is survived by: his wife Maryellen Boe of Iowa City; his sons, Randall Boe of New York, NY and Dr. Erik Boe (Anne) of Bloomington, IL.; his grandchildren, Katherine Heuck (Samuel) of Boston, MA, Meredith Norwood (James) of Bloomington, IL, Alex Boe (Cori) of Madison, WI, Matthew Boe of Norfolk, VA and Claire Boe of Chapel Hill, NC; and his great grandchildren, Oskar, Isla and Robert.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church - Iowa City (310 N Johnson St, Iowa City, IA 52245). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Shelter House of Iowa City.
