He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Buck and Wilhelmina Buck (Busch); his wife Wanda M. Smith; his son-in-law Nick Yutzy; his great grandchild Ella Yutzy; and his siblings, Joan Littell, Robert (Mary Ann) and Curtis (Jenevieve).
He is survived by: his children, Rick (Nancy), Rodney, Lou Ann, Betty Breazeale (Mike) and Nancy Yutzy; and his brother-in-law Don Littell. He is also survived by four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of Eastern Iowa or St. Croix Hospice of Cedar Rapids.
