He was predeceased by: his parents, Maebong Choi and Hyun Kim. He is survived by: his wife Jong Min Chung; his children, James Choi (Julia) of Iowa City, Steven Choi (Liz) of Puyallup, WA and Suzie Kim (Sunho) of Seoul; his grandchildren, Amanda, Alexander Choi, Eunice and Eric Kim; and his sister Jisoon Choi of South Korea.
