She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Kuhlman and Lela Kuhlman (Coover); her husband Martin; and her son Timothy. She is survived by: her sons, Marc and Philip Broer (Kathy); her grandchildren, Darrin Broer, Karl Broer, Anna Broer Weis (Ryan Weis), Sarah Broer (Ryder Swett) and Henry Broer; and her great grandchildren, Olive, Sid, Pearl Weis and Ruth Swett. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
