He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Henry Herman Neubauer and Erna Hulda Caroline Neubauer (Ziebell); his wife Evelyn Neubauer; and his sisters, Fern Tidman, Geneva Hayden and Garnet Schermer.
He is survived by: his son Kirk F. Neubauer (Patricia) of Decorah, Iowa; his grandchildren, Ellie Kuennen (Robert) of Decorah, Evan Neubauer (Andrea) of Decorah and Owen Neubauer of St. Paul, Minnesota; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Josephine Kuennen and Tyson Neubauer.
