She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lantz and Frances Lantz (Worley); her husband Edward Pieper; her daughter Carolyn Osborne; her sister Margaret Colbert; and her grandson Joey Osborne.
She is survived by: her former husband Samuel Osborne; her stepsons, Bruce and Robert Pieper; her brother John Lantz; and her siblings-in-law, Genevieve Clark and Merle Pieper. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Saint Mark Catholic Church or the Mary Pieper Scholarship Endowment in care of Ellsworth College Foundation.
