With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Elaine Jones of Kalona, Iowa, born in Meadow Grove, Nebraska, who passed away on May 19, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Marcus Rahde and Edna A. G. Rahde (Schmidt); her husband Casey Jones; and her son Robert S. Palmer. She is survived by : her children, Ron Rahde (Sally) of North Liberty, Sandra Hatcher (David) of Indiana, Kevin Shafer (Hazel) of Indiana, Shawn E. Jones of Kalona and Linda Kurpewiet (Bill) of Ewing, Nebraska; and her siblings, Lisa Reno of Colorado, Alice Hankee of Idaho and Leroy Rahde of Norfolk, Nebraska.. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A general memorial fund has been established.
