We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2023, at the age of 85, Sheryl S. Buren of Kanawha, Iowa, born in Clarion, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Everrett Wicks and Viola Wicks (Erickson); her daughter Vickie; her son-in-law Mike Noble; and her sisters, Jan Wicks and Delilah Stewart.

She is survived by : her former life partner Burrell Buren; her daughters, Melanie Buren of Santa Fe, NM and Monica Abbas of Pleasant Hill, IA; her grandchildren, Luke Noble (Heather) of Britt, Valerie Umthun (Dan) of Johnston, IA, Jessica Ferring (Matt) of Ankeny, Jacob Abbas of Duncan and Briana Abbas of Evergreen, CO; her great grandchildren, Chloie and Claire Noble; and her siblings, Kevin Wicks (Trudy) of Reno, NV, Valerie Trca (Ron) of Spokane, WA and Lana Gray (Don) of San Clemente, CA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
