He was predeceased by: his parents, Addison Eugene and Laura Mae Kite (Reynolds); and his wife Leta Jeaneane Sackman. He is survived by: his children, Gerald "Butch" Kite, Jr. of Keokuk, Louann Foster (Mark) of Keokuk, Laura Egley (Todd) of Keokuk, Renee J. Kite of Keokuk, Larry W. Kite of Keokuk and Terry E. Kite (Joni) of Keokuk; and his siblings, Junior Kite, Thomas Kite, Laurance Kite, Mary Lou Temple, Margianne Wooldridge and Carol St. Clair. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins and several great nieces and nephews.
