He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry A. Russell and Thelma Russell (Marmion); his siblings, Charlie, Bud, Billie Russell, Mary Alice Grove and Joyce Jones; and his close friend Ralph Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Russell of Keokuk, Iowa; his children, Harold Eugene Russell (Tammy) of Keokuk, Teresa Russell-Thomas of Keokuk and Mindy Russell (Ed) of Pomroy, Ohio; his grandchildren, Jason McKinley of Keokuk, Kurtis Russell of Keokuk, Kristin McKnight (Mike) of West Point and Andrew Russell of Keokuk; his great grandchildren, Zane Russell and Molina McKnight; and his siblings, Evert Russell, Rose Vradenburg, Grace Russell and Steve Russell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
For the safety of those attending the visitation, masks are strongly encouraged, and social distancing practices will be in place.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family of Junior in care of Anna Russell.
