She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford J. Ward and Susanna Florence Ward (Maple); her husbands, Rae Donald Geltz and George; her sister Ermal Swan (Elliot); her stepsiblings, Margaret McKinzie (Richard), Edith Sturm (Charlie) and Kenneth Henke (Jean); her siblings-in-law, Colleen Brosi (Bob), Jack McFadden, George Geltz (Jean), Joe Geltz (Ruth), Wayne Geltz, Neal Lampkin and Bill Geltz (Georgy); her daughter-in-law Patricia McFadden; her granddaughters, Merrillee McFadden and Jeanni Oliver; and her nephew Mike Swan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Rae Gilpin (Jack) of Hamilton, Karen Ann Miller (Carl) of Antioch and Lori Jean Schnieder (Dave) of Champaign, Illinois; her stepsons, Patrick William McFadden of Rotonda and Michael Mirrill McFadden of Des Moines, Iowa; her stepsister Bert Lampkin; and her grandchildren, James Oliver (Carrie) of Hamilton, Donald Oliver (Marietta) of Keokuk, Jeff Gilpin (Evelyn) of Keokuk, Janet Gilpin of Clinton, Carissa Cannon of Keokuk, John Paul Frakes of Antioch, Adam Frakes (Karen) of San Francisco, Sarah Jones (Gerardo) of Antioch, Jay Hayden, Curt Griffen of Keokuk, Danial Schnieder (Anastasia) of Champaign, Kevin Schnieder (Joe), Pamela Pendleton (Antony), Sean McFadden (Ashley) of Indianapolis and Christine McFadden. She is also survived by thirty-two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be directed to 1st Baptist Church in Keokuk or the River Hills Activities Department.
