With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn Ann Wemette (Keokuk, Iowa), born in Toledo, Iowa, who passed away on January 10, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Joens and Helen Bernatz Joens; and her sister Jerrie Kueny. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Wemette; her children, Nicole Nemecek (Bryan) of Keokuk, IA and Mark Wemette (Jessica) of Fairfax, VA; her grandchildren, Thomas Nemecek, Zachary Nemecek, Lissa Nemecek and Avery Kathryn Wemette; and her parents-in-law, Bob Wemette (Bev) of Alma, WS, Mary Strangstalien of Westby, WS and Pat Daniel (Bruce) of Belvidere, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Christian Vigil will be held at 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Grand Theatre or The Church of All Saints.
