She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Ridgeway and Mina Newbold Ridgeway; her husbands, John Hawbaker and Blake Phelps; and her brothers, Rex Ridgeway and Gary Ridgeway.
She is survived by : her children, Jean Kooda of Richardson, Jodie Peters of Norman, Jackie Deutsch of Portage, Michigan and Wayne Phelps (Janet) of Stockport, Iowa; her grandsons, Craig Kooda (Jill) of Plano, Jon Phelps of Ankeny, Jeff Phelps (Kerri) of Stockport, Spencer Peters of Edmond, Cody Deutsch of Portage and Trevor Deutsch of Paw Paw, Michigan; her great grandchildren, Kyle, Carson Kooda, Emma, Dean Phelps, Jack, Cael Phelps, Cameron and Taylor Deutsch; and her siblings, Leota Boyce of Camdenton, Sharon Conner of Port Byron, Illinois and Tom Ridgeway of Anamosa, Iowa..
A memorial has been established in her memory to the Hillsboro-Harrisburg Baptist Church and can be mailed to the Pedrick Funeral Home, P.O. Box 455, Keosauqua, Iowa 52565.
