She is survived by : her husband Daniel Pieper of Cedar Rapids; her nephew Erik Plaht; her children, Ashley Pieper of Tiffin and Austin Pieper of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Scarlett, Ryder and Maleah; her brother-in-law Tom Plaht of Solon; and her siblings, Linda Ebert of Newhall and John Meyer (Jan) of Keystone.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Judy's honor has been established.
