He was predeceased by: his parents, Etta Heginger (Harms) and Carl; his siblings, Duane, Bill, Lyle, LuVerne, Edna VanGerpen, Lois Ward and Zelda Scott; his granddaughters, Alyssa Heginger and Neriah Bogan; his daughter-in-law Shawna Heginger; and his siblings-in-law, Minda, Liz Heginger, Jerry Scott, Echo Reysack and Roger Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Heginger; his children, Allan Heginger (Donna) of Mason City, IA, Barbara Bogan (Charlie) of Goodell, IA, Carla Liska (Michael), Dawn Perkins (Devery), Emily Dallman (Edward) and Fay McChesney (Travis); and his siblings, Sharon Reysack of Clear Lake, IA, Tony Heginger of Klemme, IA and Rick Heginger (Georgena) of Klemme, IA. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
