She was predeceased by: her parents, Hauko and Grace Barkema (Lieuwen); her husband Arnett Ostendorf; her son Todd; her daughter-in-law Toni Ostendorf; and her siblings, Marvel Stadtlander, Leland "Bud", Ted, Harvey, Leo and Mervin Barkema.
She is survived by: her children, Claudia Boeding (Duane) of Le Grand, IA, Paul Ostendorf of Estherville and Lynn Ostendorf (Diane) of Clear Lake; her grandchildren, Jon Boeding (Katie), Susan Arifi (Denny), Mark Boeding (Jennifer), Abby Andersen, Adam Ostendorf (Amy), Andrew Ostendorf, Alex Ostendorf and Heather Vangerud (Ryan); and her sisters-in-law, Irene Barkema of Klemme and Betty Barkema of Belmond. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ in Klemme.
