She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hanni Emrich and Germany; her husband Carl Franzen; her children, Carolyn Garrett (Russ) of Iowa City, Mona Jones (Jim) of Britt, Lori Wolf (Dan) of Klemme, Mary Jo Depping (Doug) of Thornton, Dennis Bertilson (Carol) of Fithian, IL, Carol Saling (Donald) of Jacksonville, FL and Dean Bertilson (Janice) of Garner; her sister-in-law Alta Noland of Ft. Myers, FL; her husband Merle; her stepson Douglas Bertilson; and also, Mary Jo, Dennis, Carol and Dean. She was also cherished by 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
