We bid farewell to Connie S. Asher of Knoxville, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 11, 2025 at the age of 75. Connie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Arkel and Kathryn Van Arkel (Gruber); her husband Jack Asher; her son Timothy Lobberecht; and her brothers, Richard, Lawrence and Charles Van Arkel.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Garrison (Shawn) of Knoxville and Steve Lobberecht of Independence, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Rachel Bailey (Carter) of Knoxville, Grant Garrison of Knoxville, Matthew Lobberecht of Knoxville and Sydney Lobberecht of New York. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and stepchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bates Funeral Chapel (114 S 7th St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Forest Cemetery (634 N 9th St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577).
