He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Sockriter, and Twyla Sockriter, Jr. (Crandall); his brother John Sockriter; and his grandparents, Clarence, Ruby Sockriter, Sr., Frank and Jesse Crandall.
He is survived by : his siblings, Gailand Sockriter, Carol Langstraat, Ruby Johnson, Rose Poole and Ron Sockriter. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Memorials may be given in James' memory to St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
