It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leta Nichols (Knoxville, Iowa), who passed away on July 12, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Agan and Ferne Agan (King); her husband Bob "Curly" Nichols; her daughter-in-law Brenda Nichols; and her siblings, Dean, Jr., Forest W., Duane Agan (Delores) and Geraldine.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Wayne Nichols, Lorna Arnett, Lou Ann and Bob Willis of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Matt Nichols, Andy (Marcie Nichols), Mike (Lisa Willis), Tim (Christa Willis), Heather (Aaron Collins) and Heidi (Clay Ingram); her great grandchildren, Jace, Presley, Jaxson, Charlye, Connor, Camryn, Lane, Adelyn, Byron and Merrick; her sister Marjorie Clark of Knoxville; her siblings-in-law, Joanne Nichols (George) of Winterset, Phyllis Willetts (Ben) of Knoxville, George Nichols and Fred Clark; and her parents-in-law, Charley and Clara Nichols (Kingery). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
