He is survived by: his siblings, Tony Brown (Tammi) of Milo and Melissa Brown of Oskaloosa; his brother-in-law Bryan Brees of Oskaloosa; and his siblings' children, Christopher Brown (Allison), Josh Brees, Paige Davis (Trent), Abby Brees, Madison Brown, Hunter VanHaalen (Cassie), Scout VanHaalen, Easton VanHaalen, Kelsee VanHaalen, Gauge VanHaalen and Kylee VanHaalen-Brown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Monte's memory to his family.
