She is survived by : her sons, Shane Sweitzer (Katie) and Ryan Sweitzer; her grandchildren, Adam, Isaac, Samuel and Georgia; her stepmother Sharon L. Ethell; her brothers, Steve Ethell (Vicky) and Scott Ethell; and her stepbrothers, Ray Denney and Don Denney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given in Sharon's memory to her family or to the Marion County Humane Society.
