With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Theodore Joseph Schaefer of La Porte City, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Rita, Merle Peters, Joseph H. Schaefer and John L. Hildman. He is survived by: his parents, Theodore Michael Schaefer of Waterloo and Paula Ray Hildman (Dennis Rogers) of Waterloo; his daughters, Jocelyn Crawford (Beau) of Marengo and Madison Schaefer (Matthew Richards) of Conroy; his grandmother Wilma Gilbert of Waterloo; his brother Seth Schaefer of Cedar Falls; and his grandchildren, Brody, Weston and Emmersyn Crawford.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (627 W 4th St, Waterloo, IA 50702).
Memorials may be directed to the family, where a memorial fund will be established.
