He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Kavanaugh and Sharon Kavanaugh (Segebart) of Lake City; his pet Darma; his siblings, Matthew Kavanaugh of Sac City and Jennifer Kavanaugh of Des Moines; his grandmother Betty Segebart of Lake City; and his children, Amanda, Karissa and Thomas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
