He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Mastin and Ellen Mastin (Mertz); and his wife Janet Fahan. He is survived by : his children, Cheri Rehtmeyer (Clint) of Kilkenney, MN, Chris A. Smith of Lake City, Richard Smith of Carroll and Don Smith (Leah) of Lake City; and his sister Vondaleigh Reynolds of Monticello. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
