It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jan Mohr of Lake City, Iowa, born in Boone, Iowa, who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerald Bettis and Delores Bettis (Allen); her son George Mentzer II; and her son-in-law John Simons. She is survived by : her husband David Mohr of Lake City; her children, Marcia Simons of Lake City, Dodi Nepple (Scott) of Lake City, Davey Mohr (Amanda) of Nevada, Matt Mohr (Cindy) of Scranton, Crystal Rice (Mike) of Scranton, Amber Hoyt (Jeremiah) of Anamosa and Randal Rogers of Lake City; and her sisters, Karon Humphreys, Sharon Marlin (George), Linda Musser and Bonnie Corson (Bill). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left for the Iowa Heart Association.
