He was predeceased by: his parents, LuVerne Bultena and Donna Mae Bultena (Akason); his foster parents, Rev. Harvey Calsbeek and Angeline Calsbeek; his sister Cathleen; and his grandparents, Glenn and Agnes Akason.
He is survived by: his siblings, Glenda Hoogland (Tim), Greg Akason (Reene) and Scott Phares (Tari); and his foster siblings, Marcia Vermeer (David), Doug Calsbeek (Janine) and Harold Calsbeek (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
