She was predeceased by : her parents, James Joseph and Elsie May Liddle (Smith); her husband Ray McBroom; her sister Mary Liddle; her sons, Michael Blanchard of Lamoni, Iowa and Tracy McBroom; her stepsons, Johnny and Kevin McBroom; and her granddaughter Bethany Gruich.

She is survived by : her former life partner Marden Lester "Pat" Blanchard; her children, Rhonda, Sherry, Debby, Jimmy, Troy, Tony and Lori; her sister Alice Ross (Bob) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her children, Gary Walter of Des Moines, Iowa, Allen Francesco of Hollister, Missouri, Harold Parson of Clinton, Illinois, Melissa Blanchard of Bonita Springs, Florida, Dawna McBroom and Jennifer McBroom; her child-in-law Neta Updegraff of Des Moines, Iowa; and her children, Randy McBroom of Des Moines, Iowa, Pam Kemp, Jess Soulis of Arvada, Colorado and Mike McBroom of Des Moines, Iowa. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
