He is survived by: his wife Alice Weidauer; his sons, Howard McDaniel (Cheri) of Urbandale and Kenneth McDaniel of Des Moines, Iowa; his grandchildren, Gregory McDaniel (Stephanie), Bethany Pearson (Matt), Amanda Frerk (Marcus) and Jonathon McDaniel (Becca); his great grandchildren, Mikayla, Elijah McDaniel, Ty and Chrysi Frerk; and his daughter-in-law Linda McDaniel.
