It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Norman Speltz of Lawler, Iowa, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman "Red" Speltz and Marie Speltz (Woods); his grandparents, Kitt, Ray Woods, Marie and Ben Speltz; his sister-in-law Mary Speltz; and his nephew Bill Paul.

He is survived by : his caregivers, Miss Kitty, Pearl and Vanna; and his siblings, Steve Speltz of Lawler, Joe Speltz of Lawler, Tim Speltz (Deb) of Lawler, Connie Deeny (Paul) of Charles City, Cathy Lechtenberg (John) of Bettendorf, Norma Creighton (Dave) of Des Moines, Jenny Mikota (Bob) of Sigourney, Mary Mikota (Bryan) of DePere, WI, Theresa Jirak (Brian) of Peidmont, OK and Rose Armstrong (James) of Goodyear, AZ. He is also survived by 28 nieces and nephews; and close to 50 great nieces and nephew.
