Joan Taber Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2021, at the age of 87, Joan Taber (Le Claire, Iowa), born in Marquette, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Thornton and May Thornton (Ruckhaber); her husband Richard "Dick" Taber; and her daughter Debra Sue Taber. She is survived by : her children, Kathy Truelson (Arnold) of LeClaire and Dick Taber (Brad Mumm) of Durant; her grandchildren, Christian Taber, Frankie Heston, Bret Taber and Kory Heston; and her brother Tony Thornton of Princeton, Iowa.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Shriner's Hospital for Children or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
