With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Meeker (Le Claire, Iowa), born in Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on April 5, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Linda R. Long; his son Todd; his parents, Dolores Derby and Ed Meeker (Sandy); his siblings, Glenda Rumburg, Terry Meeker, Glenn Meeker (Kait) and Larry Derby (Holly); his parents-in-law, Joyce Long and Robert Long; and his sister-in-law Melody Tolley. He was also cherished by daughter; and many loving nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.
Masks will be required and social distancing expected for those attending his services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Disabled American Veterans.
