He was predeceased by : his parents, James P. Larson and Mary Larson; his wife Barbara; and his siblings, Robert Larson, Phil Larson, Alora Peterman and Marguerite Thalacker.

He is survived by : his children, Jim Larson, Jane Hegwood (Bob), Doug Larson (Teresa) and Connie Hart (Mike); and his grandchildren, Zach (Amy), Jamie, Travis (Cassie), Lindsay, Dustin (Jessica), Clay, Troy, Ashley, Jessica (John) and Melissa (Sean).
